How it plays

How does Normality play?

The game uses a first-person 3D perspective. Players explore Neutropolis, inspect locations, speak with residents, collect objects, and combine or use inventory items to solve environmental puzzles.

Progression follows a mostly linear adventure structure with new areas and solutions opening as Kent advances his plan to challenge the city’s authorities. The game is single-player and centers on observation, dialogue, item experimentation, and returning to earlier locations when a new clue or object changes what is possible.

What is the best way to play Normality?

Examine every accessible object and speak with each relevant resident before leaving an area. Keep track of unusual comments and item descriptions, since they often identify the intended puzzle solution.

Use inventory objects on the environment methodically, and revisit earlier locations after major story events. If progress stops, look for an interaction that has not yet been tested rather than assuming a missing item is required.
