Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
Matches take place in single-screen arenas viewed from the side. The objective is to defeat the opposing robot before the time limit expires, using punches, kicks, special attacks, jumps, throws, and movement to control distance.
The game includes individual fights, tournaments, and a career mode. Career earnings can be spent on repairs and machine improvements, while victories unlock tougher opponents and later stages. Different robots have distinct speed, strength, armor, and weapon characteristics.
Plan your run
Learn the range and recovery time of the selected robot before relying on special attacks. Short combinations, blocking, and well-timed jumps are generally safer than repeatedly using slow heavy moves.
In career mode, prioritize repairs after difficult matches and improve the attributes that support your chosen style. Watch the opponent’s movement patterns, punish missed attacks, and use the arena edges carefully rather than allowing yourself to be trapped.
Before you begin
Use training or early matches to learn each robot’s attack range and timing.
Save career funds for essential repairs and upgrades instead of spending everything immediately.
One Must Fall 2097 is a science-fiction fighting game developed by Diversions Entertainment and published by Epic MegaGames for DOS in 1994. Players control pilots who fight in large robotic machines in one-on-one arena battles, with a career mode that adds money, upgrades, and tournament progression. Its play style combines traditional fighting-game attacks with robot-specific weapons and special moves. The game was well received for its responsive controls, distinctive machines, and unusually substantial career structure, although its computer opponents and presentation reflect the limitations of early DOS hardware.
