Monkey D. Luffy
The Straw Hat Pirates' captain, who fights with rubber-powered attacks after eating the Gum-Gum Fruit.
How it plays
Battles take place in compact two-dimensional arenas viewed from the side. The objective is usually to defeat opposing characters, survive a timed encounter, or complete a scenario-specific condition.
Players move, jump, attack, defend, use special moves, and call support characters. Adventure progression unlocks new battles, characters, abilities, and collectible content, while versus-style modes provide more direct matches.
Plan your run
Learn the range and recovery time of each character's main attacks before relying on special moves. Use the arena edges and platforms to separate opponents, then call support characters when an enemy is recovering.
In story missions, read the victory condition carefully. Some battles reward survival, a particular partner, or a time limit rather than simply defeating every opponent.

One Piece: Gigant Battle! is a Nintendo DS action fighting game developed by Ganbarion and based on Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga and anime. It brings together a large selection of pirates, Marines, and supporting characters for fast arena battles and short adventure missions. Players control Monkey D. Luffy or another member of the series roster while using normal attacks, special techniques, partner assists, and environmental hazards. The game was designed primarily for fans, with story events and locations drawn from the series. Reception was generally positive for its character variety and energetic combat, although some reviews noted repetitive missions and limited depth compared with dedicated fighting games.
