How it plays

How does Oxyd 2 play?

The game uses a top-down perspective. The player moves a ball through self-contained maze screens, avoids hazards, activates mechanisms, and searches for matching Oxyd stones. Opening the correct pair is generally the central objective of a screen.

Rooms introduce new layouts and obstacles as the game progresses. Momentum and positioning are important, so movement must be planned around walls, traps, switches, and other interactive elements. There is no character party or conventional inventory system; advancement comes from completing the current puzzle.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Oxyd 2?

Study the entire room before committing to a route. Identify matching Oxyd stones, movable objects, hazards, and switches, then plan a path that leaves enough space for controlled movement.

Use short, deliberate inputs near obstacles and test unfamiliar mechanisms cautiously. If a room is lost, reproduce the successful portions of the route and change only the step that caused the failure.
