How it plays
Each case alternates between investigation sections and courtroom proceedings. During investigations, Phoenix moves between locations, talks to witnesses, examines objects, and collects evidence for the Court Record.
In court, the player follows testimony, presses statements for more information, and presents evidence that contradicts a witness. Cases are divided into episodes with scripted discoveries, deductions, and escalating testimony. The player must manage contradictions carefully; repeated mistakes reduce the available health bar.
Plan your run
Read every testimony closely and press statements before presenting evidence. Pressing can reveal useful details, even when it does not immediately expose a contradiction.
Keep the Court Record organized mentally. Compare dates, locations, objects, and witness claims, and save before major testimony when possible so an incorrect presentation does not cost much health.
