Unnamed caveman
The playable prehistoric hero, armed with a club and tasked with surviving the stages while collecting food and treasure.
How it plays
The game is viewed from the side and is divided into linear scrolling stages. The objective is to reach each stage’s exit while collecting food, defeating or avoiding enemies, and surviving pits, traps, and other hazards.
The caveman can run, jump, attack with his club, and interact with objects encountered in the scenery. Progress comes from completing successive levels; food and other pickups contribute to the score and can support survival during difficult sections.
Plan your run
Explore each section carefully before committing to a jump. Many hazards are easier to handle by slowing down and observing enemy movement rather than charging forward.
Collect accessible food and bonus items, but do not risk a life for a pickup near a trap. Use the club when an enemy blocks a narrow route, and keep enough space to react to moving hazards.

Before you begin

Prioritize safe food pickups over risky bonus items.
Use short, controlled jumps near pits and traps.
Prehistorik 2 is a side-scrolling platform-action game developed and published by Titus France for DOS. It follows a prehistoric caveman on a comic journey through forests, caves, villages, and other hostile environments while searching for food and treasure. The game combines straightforward running and jumping with club attacks, enemy avoidance, environmental hazards, and collectible items. Its bright cartoon presentation, large animated sprites, and humorous tone were among its most recognizable features. Period reception generally highlighted the attractive animation and accessible arcade-style action, while some reviews noted uneven difficulty and repetition. It is remembered as one of Titus’s more distinctive early-1990s platform games.
