Quarantine uses a first-person view from inside the taxi. The player drives through Kemo, collects passengers, reaches destinations, and fights hostile vehicles or other threats with mounted weapons. Streets function as combat arenas as well as routes, so avoiding damage and choosing a safe path are important.

Progression is mission-based. Completing fares and objectives provides access to further parts of the city and supports improvements to the vehicle and its equipment. The player must balance speed, navigation, ammunition, and vehicle durability rather than treating every encounter as a straightforward shooting gallery.

Learn the street layout and avoid unnecessary fights when a mission only requires transportation. Taking a safer route can preserve armor, ammunition, and time for later objectives.

Use the taxi’s weapons selectively and keep moving during combat. Check the vehicle’s condition frequently, because damage accumulated during ordinary travel can make later passenger runs much harder.
