How it plays

How does Questron II play?

Exploration is presented from a first-person perspective. The player moves through an overworld and enclosed areas, visits settlements, gathers information, buys equipment, and searches for clues connected to the central quest.

Combat is turn-based and emphasizes positioning, equipment, weapons, spells, and resource management. Progress comes from exploring new regions, gaining experience, improving character capabilities, and obtaining items needed to overcome stronger enemies and advance the story.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Questron II?

Explore methodically and record information from towns and other locations. Important clues and required items may be separated by long stretches of exploration, so returning to previously visited areas can be worthwhile.

Maintain suitable equipment and conserve healing, ammunition, and other limited resources. Save before entering unfamiliar areas or attempting major encounters, and avoid treating every battle as a worthwhile fight if escape is possible.
