How it plays

How does Ratatouille play?

The game uses a side-view perspective. Remy moves through themed stages, avoids hazards and enemies, collects objects, and reaches the end of each area. Some sections emphasize careful movement and hiding, while others focus on platforming and exploration.

Progression is stage-based. Players complete objectives connected to the film's story, gather ingredients or other collectibles, and use Remy's movement abilities to access routes and solve simple obstacles. The Game Boy Advance version is a self-contained handheld adaptation rather than a direct conversion of the larger console editions.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Ratatouille?

Explore each area before moving directly toward the exit. Collectible ingredients and side paths are often placed above, below, or behind the main route, so check platforms and corners carefully.

Use Remy's movement deliberately around hazards and enemies. When a route looks unsafe, pause to observe the pattern, then cross during a clear opening. Keep track of objective items so you do not have to retrace long sections.
