Rayman
The limbless hero controlled by the player. Rayman explores the stages, fights enemies, and works to stop the Rabbids.
How it plays
The game uses a side-scrolling 2D perspective. Rayman travels through themed stages, defeats enemies, collects items, reaches the end of each level, and searches for optional objects that reward more careful exploration.
Progression is structured around successive areas with platforming challenges, hazards, moving platforms, and encounters with Rabbids or other enemies. Players must combine movement, jumping, attacks, and careful timing to clear obstacles and advance through the adventure.
Plan your run
Study enemy movement before committing to a jump or attack. Many hazards are easier to handle when approached slowly rather than crossed at full speed.
Search side paths and elevated platforms for collectibles, but prioritize safe progress when health or lives are limited. Learn the timing of moving platforms and avoid taking unnecessary damage before boss or difficult sections.
Meet the cast

Mischievous rabbit-like creatures who create the central threat and appear as enemies throughout the adventure.
Rayman: Raving Rabbids is a side-scrolling platform game developed by Ubisoft Casablanca and published by Ubisoft for the Game Boy Advance in 2006. It places Rayman in a light-hearted adventure against the mischievous Rabbids, adapting the characters and setting of the broader Rayman franchise to a compact handheld format. The game focuses on traditional 2D exploration, jumping, combat, collectible gathering, and environmental obstacles rather than the large collection of party activities found in some other versions. Its colorful presentation and familiar character cast made it a recognizable handheld Rayman release, although it received less attention than the console versions and was generally regarded as a straightforward portable platformer.
