Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
Players take alternating turns placing a disc on the board. A legal move must enclose one or more opposing discs between the newly placed disc and another disc of the player's color in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line; enclosed discs change color.
The game normally continues until neither player can make a legal move or the board is full. The player with more discs at the end wins. Exact menus, difficulty levels, save features, and multiplayer options depend on the unidentified DOS version.
Plan your run
Control of corners is generally valuable because discs placed there cannot be flipped. Avoid giving an opponent an easy corner entry, and consider moves that limit the number of legal replies.
The most discs during the middle of the game do not necessarily indicate a winning position. Evaluate mobility, stable edge positions, and the likely consequences of each move; version-specific advice cannot be confirmed without identifying the release.
Reversi is a board-strategy game associated with DOS, but the title alone does not identify a particular executable, developer, publisher, or release year. The underlying game is played on an eight-by-eight board, where players place discs and capture opposing discs by enclosing them in a straight line. Its play style is turn-based and rules-driven rather than action-oriented. Different DOS versions can vary in interface, computer opponents, options, and presentation. Because no specific edition is identified here, version-specific historical reception and features remain unknown. This entry records only the reliable platform and game identity, without attributing the software to an unverified company or release.
