How it plays

How does Shellshock play?

The game is viewed from behind the player's tank in a three-dimensional battlefield. Missions require movement through hostile areas, engagement of enemy vehicles or installations, and completion of assigned objectives before the tank is destroyed.

Players steer the tank, aim the turret, fire available weapons, and manage positioning around terrain and enemy fire. Progression follows a sequence of missions, with success depending on combat performance and route management rather than character development or item collection.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Shellshock?

Use terrain and structures as cover instead of remaining exposed in open ground. Pause before entering a new area, scan for threats, and avoid wasting ammunition on distant or low-priority targets.

Keep the tank moving when enemy fire is concentrated, but use deliberate positioning when aiming. Learn each mission's route and objective before committing to an attack; surviving the approach is often as important as winning the final engagement.

Before you begin

What should you know before playing?

  1. 1

Use cover whenever the battlefield provides it.

  2. 2

Do not spend ammunition recklessly on targets that can be bypassed.

  3. 3

Approach unfamiliar areas slowly and scan for enemy fire.
