How it plays

How does Silverball play?

The game uses a top-down or vertically scrolling view of a pinball table. The objective is to keep the ball moving with the flippers, strike scoring objects, and achieve the highest possible score before the available balls are lost.

Players launch the ball, control the left and right flippers, and react to rebounds from bumpers, targets, lanes, and table hazards. Progress is score-based rather than character-based; the main long-term goal is improving performance and competing with saved or remembered high scores.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Silverball?

Watch the ball instead of concentrating only on the flippers. Use controlled, late flipper shots when possible, because hurried inputs often send the ball into the outlanes.

Prioritize targets and lanes that can be reached repeatedly, but protect the center drain whenever the ball drops between the flippers. Learn the table layout through short practice sessions before attempting high-score runs.

Before you begin

What should you know before playing?

  1. 1

Use conservative flipper timing near the drain.

  2. 2

Study rebound angles before attempting difficult shots.

  3. 3

Treat each ball as practice for improving table control.
