How it plays
Each level presents a maze viewed from above. Skweek moves across tiles, changes their state or color, collects keys, and reaches the exit while avoiding enemies and environmental dangers.
Stages are completed in sequence, and later layouts require more careful routing and timing. The main objective is to solve the tile maze efficiently rather than defeat enemies directly.
Plan your run
Study the whole layout before moving through narrow passages. Plan a route that preserves access to unvisited tiles and the exit.
Avoid rushing into enemies or hazards. When a stage contains keys or branching paths, clear safer areas first and use the remaining open route to return to the exit.

Before you begin
Survey the maze before committing to a route.
Do not close off corridors needed to reach the exit.
Use patience on stages with enemies or narrow passages.
Skweek is a tile-based puzzle action game developed and published by Loriciel for DOS. The player controls a small pink creature trying to restore color to a series of maze-like stages while collecting keys and avoiding hazards and enemies. Its play style combines route planning with quick movement: clearing tiles opens paths, but careless progress can leave Skweek trapped or exposed. The game is structured around many single-screen levels, with difficulty rising through tighter layouts and more dangerous obstacles. It was recognized as a charming, accessible European puzzle game, although its challenge can become demanding.
