Raiden
A newly assigned FOXHOUND operative and the primary playable character for most of the Plant chapter.
How it plays
Players infiltrate guarded facilities, avoid patrols, collect intelligence, and complete objectives without raising an alarm. The third-person camera supports movement, aiming, close-quarters combat, item use, and interaction with the environment.
The campaign is divided into story-driven areas and missions. Players can hide in lockers, crawl, lean around corners, distract guards, use suppressed weapons, and exploit surveillance systems. Alert status, ammunition, rations, equipment, and discovered routes influence progression. A separate Tanker chapter precedes the main Plant chapter.
Plan your run
Use cover and observe patrol routes before moving. Tranquilizer rounds, distractions, lockers, and crawling are often safer than direct firefights.
Search rooms for dog tags, rations, ammunition, and weapons, but avoid unnecessary noise. During boss encounters, study attack patterns and use the available environment rather than wasting ammunition.
Save frequently and manage the alert level. If detected, break line of sight, hide, and wait for the search to end instead of forcing a prolonged battle.
