Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
The game presents a digital version of Sorry!'s shared race track. Players select cards and use their effects to move pawns from start, around the board, and toward home. A pawn may capture an opponent by landing on its space, returning that pawn to its start area. The objective is to bring all four of your pawns home first.
Turns are structured around drawing and playing cards, with legal moves determined by each card's instruction. Depending on the rules implemented by the version, cards may move one or more pawns, split movement, swap positions, or enable a special start move. Progress comes from choosing safe routes while creating opportunities to disrupt opponents.
Plan your run
Prioritize getting pawns out of start, because an inactive pawn cannot threaten opponents or advance toward home. When several moves are legal, compare immediate distance with the risk of landing where another player can capture you.
Keep more than one pawn active when possible. A spread of pawns gives card draws more useful options, while a single advanced pawn can become an easy target. Save flexible cards for moments when they either enter home, avoid a capture, or create a strong attack.
Before you begin
Read each card's movement instruction carefully before committing a move.
Use captures and special movement cards to disrupt the nearest rival.
Keep multiple pawns in play instead of advancing only one.
Sorry! for DOS is a digital board-game adaptation of the classic race-and-capture game. The developer, publisher, and verified release year for this DOS version are not established here, so those fields are left blank rather than inferred. Its premise is simple: move four pawns from the start area around a track and into the home area before the other players do. Play is turn-based and driven by cards rather than dice. Cards can advance, split, exchange, or send pawns backward depending on their effects. The main appeal is the mix of straightforward family rules and sudden reversals. Reliable platform-specific reception information is limited, so no definitive critical assessment is supplied.
