How it plays

How does Spider-Man play?

The game uses a side-view perspective. Spider-Man moves through city-themed stages, defeats enemies, avoids hazards, collects useful items, and reaches the end of each area.

Progression follows a linear sequence of levels with regular combat encounters and boss battles. Peter can jump, strike enemies, and use web abilities to control space or interact with the environment.

The main campaign is designed for single-player play. Success depends on learning enemy patterns, managing health, and using movement carefully during platforming sections.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Spider-Man?

Use Spider-Man's mobility instead of trading hits with enemies. Jump over attacks, strike from a safe position, and retreat when several opponents surround you.

Explore each stage before moving on when practical. Health and other useful pickups can make later encounters easier, especially before boss fights.

Bosses usually reward patience. Watch their attack patterns, stay mobile, and attack during the brief openings after they commit to a move.
