SpongeBob SquarePants
The main playable character, a cheerful fry cook from Bikini Bottom who takes part in the movie audition adventure.
How it plays
The game uses a side-on perspective and presents a sequence of platforming stages based on locations from Bikini Bottom. The main objective is to reach the end of each stage, overcome hazards and enemies, and collect useful items along the way.
Players control SpongeBob and may encounter other familiar characters during the adventure. Movement, jumping, attacks, and environmental interaction form the core play pattern. Progression comes from completing stages and advancing through the movie-themed story rather than from a large upgrade system.
Plan your run
Explore each stage before moving on so that collectibles and useful items are not missed. Learn the timing of jumps around moving hazards rather than rushing through unfamiliar sections.
Use attacks conservatively and watch enemy patterns. When a stage contains several hazards in sequence, pause between jumps to confirm the next landing point.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Lights, Camera, Pants! is a side-scrolling action platformer developed by WayForward Technologies and published by THQ for the Game Boy Advance in 2005. It follows SpongeBob and several Bikini Bottom residents as they compete for parts in a new Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy movie. Unlike the party-oriented versions released on home consoles, this edition presents a compact single-player adventure designed around exploration, platforming, and cartoon-themed challenges. Players move through colorful stages, defeat enemies, collect items, and use character abilities to advance. The game received a mixed but generally favorable response for its bright presentation and faithful license, while reviews commonly noted its straightforward structure and limited depth compared with larger SpongeBob releases.
