How it plays

How does Stonekeep play?

Stonekeep uses a first-person perspective inside interconnected dungeons, ruins, forests, and other hostile areas. The main objective is to recover the means to oppose Khull-Khuum while finding keys, solving environmental puzzles, collecting equipment, and surviving encounters with monsters.

Players move through discrete spaces, search containers and scenery, fight with weapons and magic, manage health and resources, and speak with story characters. Progress is primarily chapter- and item-based: exploration reveals shortcuts and objectives, while important artifacts and plot events open access to later regions.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Stonekeep?

Search every room carefully; keys, food, healing items, and quest objects are often placed away from the main route.

Conserve magic and healing supplies for dangerous encounters. Learn enemy patterns, keep useful weapons ready, and revisit earlier areas when a newly acquired item or clue suggests an alternate route.

Save frequently before entering unfamiliar sections or triggering major story events. Some puzzles depend on examining objects rather than simply defeating every enemy.
