How it plays

How does Strife: Quest for the Sigil play?

The game uses a first-person perspective. The player explores connected areas, talks with civilians and resistance members, accepts missions, searches for key items, and fights the Order with firearms and the Sigil.

Progression is mission-based rather than a simple sequence of isolated levels. Completing objectives can open new areas, alter relationships, and provide money, ammunition, armor, or weapons. Some tasks support stealth or negotiation, but combat remains central. Death can be permanent for certain non-player characters, so careless actions may affect later objectives.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Strife: Quest for the Sigil?

Explore each hub carefully before leaving it. Talk to characters more than once, read mission-related dialogue, and keep spare ammunition for stronger Order units.

Save before major conversations and objectives. Some characters and opportunities can be lost permanently, while money and inventory management determine whether later missions are comfortable or difficult.

Use cover and corners against ranged enemies, and switch weapons according to distance. The Sigil is powerful, but conserving ammunition and maintaining armor is often more important than rushing into every fight.
