Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
The player guides a skier down courses from a third-person viewpoint. The objective is to complete each run quickly while passing through required gates and avoiding crashes or missed markers.
Events use compact courses that reward line selection, braking, and controlled turns. Progress comes from improving times and successfully completing the available skiing challenges rather than from character development or equipment management.
Plan your run
Learn the placement of gates before attempting record times. A clean route is usually more valuable than taking a risky line that causes a collision.
Use controlled turns to preserve speed, and brake before difficult gates rather than correcting too late. Repeated practice helps establish consistent lines through each course.
SuperSki III is a DOS skiing game developed and published by Microids. It presents competitive alpine events from a behind-the-skier perspective, with the player steering through courses while trying to maintain speed and avoid obstacles. The game is built around short, repeatable runs rather than a large narrative campaign, making route familiarity and careful control central to play. As the third entry in the Super Ski series, it belongs to the early-1990s wave of computer sports titles. Its reception was modest, with its appeal resting mainly on straightforward skiing action and event-based competition.
