Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
The game is viewed from the side. In driving sections, the player steers along scrolling roads, avoids hazards, and uses weapons against hostile vehicles and roadside enemies. Reaching designated areas leads to on-foot sequences.
On foot, the objective is to advance through enemy-filled streets, shoot opponents, and survive until the end of the stage. Progress depends primarily on completing successive sections; the DOS version does not provide a deep character-development system or an extensive set of selectable modes.
Plan your run
Learn the timing of enemy attacks before rushing forward, and treat the driving and on-foot sections as separate challenges. Avoid unnecessary exposure, keep moving when enemies approach, and use the available weapon deliberately rather than firing continuously.
Because the game is difficult and its controls can feel rigid, short practice sessions are useful. Memorize recurring hazards and enemy positions so that later attempts can be completed with fewer mistakes.
Techno Cop is a futuristic action game developed by Gray Matter Inc. and published by U.S. Gold. It combines side-scrolling driving with on-foot shooting, placing the player in control of a heavily armed police officer pursuing criminals through a violent near-future city. The game alternates between high-speed road sections and direct combat, creating a compact arcade-style structure rather than a story-heavy campaign. Its dark cyberpunk presentation and aggressive subject matter were distinctive for the period. Contemporary reception was mixed: reviewers generally noticed the unusual driving-and-shooting combination, while criticizing uneven controls, difficulty, and rough presentation.
