How it plays

How does Teenagent play?

Teenagent uses a third-person, fixed-screen perspective with a point-and-click interface. The player guides Mark through locations, examines objects, talks to characters, picks up items, and uses inventory objects on the environment or other people.

Progression is largely nonlinear within each area, but major puzzles must be solved to open new locations and advance the story. The game has no combat system or character statistics; progress depends on observation, dialogue choices, item combinations, and testing unusual solutions.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Teenagent?

Examine every visible object and speak with each character more than once. Many solutions depend on using an inventory item on an apparently unrelated object, so revisit earlier locations after acquiring new items.

Keep multiple save files before trying suspicious actions. Teenagent includes humorous trial-and-error puzzles, and some interactions can produce unexpected or irreversible results.
