Leonardo
The disciplined leader, armed with twin katanas.
How it plays
The game uses a side-scrolling perspective. Players move through stages, defeat Foot Clan soldiers and other enemies, avoid hazards, and reach the end of each area.
The four turtles can be selected for missions, and their weapons provide different attack patterns and reach. Progression is based on completing story stages, finding collectibles, and surviving increasingly difficult encounters, including boss battles.
Plan your run
Use the turtle whose weapon best suits the situation: Leonardo is balanced, Donatello has useful reach, Raphael is effective at close range, and Michelangelo attacks quickly.
Clear nearby enemies before advancing, watch for environmental hazards, and search side paths for collectibles. Against bosses, prioritize learning attack patterns over rushing in.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for Game Boy Advance is an action beat 'em up and platform game based on the 2003 animated television series. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft, it follows Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo as they fight through New York and other dangerous locations. The game combines side-scrolling exploration with close-range combat, jumping, collectible searches, and short puzzle-like obstacles. Each turtle has a distinct weapon and combat style, giving the player a reason to switch between heroes. It was generally recognized as a competent handheld adaptation, although its compact stages and simplified presentation reflect the limitations of the Game Boy Advance.
