How it plays
The game uses an isometric view of skate parks. Each run gives the skater a limited time to explore a course, build combos, collect items, and complete listed objectives.
Career mode is organized around individual skaters and several stages. Goals include reaching score targets, collecting letters and objects, finding secret areas, and performing specified tricks or gaps. Completing objectives earns rewards and helps unlock later content.
Players steer, ollie, grind, grab, flip, and string tricks together. Landing safely preserves a combo, while crashes end the current sequence. Character statistics and trick options can be improved through progression.
Plan your run
Learn each course before chasing high scores. Complete easy collection and movement goals first so that you gain cash and unlock more useful statistics.
Build speed before ramps and rails, and favor short, reliable combos over risky sequences. A manual between tricks can extend a line, but landing near a wall or obstacle makes recovery difficult.
Upgrade speed, ollie, air, and balance early. Revisit stages after learning their routes; many goals are easier when approached with a planned line rather than improvised movement.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 for Game Boy Advance is a skateboarding sports game developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision. It adapts the console game into a compact isometric experience, placing licensed professional skaters in goal-based courses filled with ramps, rails, gaps, and collectibles. The main play style combines timed exploration with trick scoring. Players complete career objectives, earn cash, and improve attributes while unlocking additional locations and skaters. The GBA version was generally regarded as an ambitious and technically strong handheld adaptation, although its isometric perspective and simplified presentation differ substantially from the larger console editions.
