Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
The game uses a first-person exploration perspective. The player moves through connected locations, searches for clues and objects, and answers mathematics questions presented during the adventure.
Progress depends on completing the available challenges accurately. Exploration and problem solving are the central activities; there is no documented combat system or competitive multiplayer mode. The DOS version presents a self-contained educational quest with progression through themed areas and increasingly demanding exercises.
Plan your run
Read each problem carefully before choosing an answer. Keep track of discovered clues and revisit locations when an earlier challenge or missing item blocks progress.
For arithmetic exercises, work the problem on paper when necessary rather than relying on guesses. Accuracy is more useful than speed because incorrect answers can delay progress.
Before you begin
Use written calculations for multi-step problems.
Explore each accessible area before moving on.
Recheck the wording of questions before submitting an answer.
Super Solvers: Treasure MathStorm! is an educational mathematics adventure developed and published by The Learning Company for DOS. The player explores a fantastical world while solving arithmetic and number-based challenges to recover treasure and advance through the game. Its presentation combines colorful exploration, simple puzzle solving, and curriculum-oriented practice rather than traditional action combat. The game is designed primarily for children in elementary-school age ranges, with difficulty and problem types focused on foundational mathematics. Like other Super Solvers releases, it was recognized for making structured practice more approachable through an adventure framework, although its educational focus gives it a narrower audience than a conventional action or adventure game.
