Fun School 2: For the Under-6s
DOSEducational
How it plays
Matches are viewed from an elevated third-person perspective. The objective is to win points, games, sets, and ultimately the match by placing the ball beyond the opponent's reach while keeping shots inside the court.
Players move around the court, serve, return, and choose different strokes according to timing and position. The game is structured around individual matches rather than an open world; available match and tournament options can vary by version, so undocumented mode details are omitted here.
Plan your run
Stay near the center of the baseline after each shot so that both corners remain reachable. Move early toward the ball, but avoid committing too far to one side before the opponent's shot is clear.
Use safer shots to build a rally, then direct a faster or angled ball when the opponent is out of position. On serve, prioritize accuracy and recovery position over maximum power.
World Tour Tennis is a tennis sports game developed and published by Electronic Arts for DOS in 1993. It presents court-based singles and doubles matches with an emphasis on positioning, shot selection, and timing rather than arcade-style spectacle. Players control a tennis competitor from a third-person, elevated view and attempt to win points through serves, returns, volleys, and baseline strokes. Its PC release belongs to the early-1990s wave of computer tennis simulations, offering a straightforward alternative to more elaborate console presentations. Contemporary coverage generally treated it as a competent, conventional tennis title, although it is less widely remembered than major console tennis series.
