John Cena
A breakout Ruthless Aggression-era star with a power-oriented style.
How it plays
Matches are viewed from a side perspective in compact arenas. The objective is to reduce the opponent’s health and then secure a successful pin, or satisfy the conditions of the selected match type.
Players move around the ring, attack, grapple, throw opponents, and attempt pins. Progression is based on selecting bouts and winning matches rather than on a detailed season-management system.
Plan your run
Study the opponent’s attack range before committing to a grapple, and avoid repeatedly attacking when your wrestler is recovering. Use the edges of the ring carefully, since positioning affects throws, escapes, and pin attempts.
Save stronger attacks for moments when the opponent is weakened. A pin attempt is more useful after a sustained sequence of attacks than at the beginning of a match.
Meet the cast
A breakout Ruthless Aggression-era star with a power-oriented style.
A dominant heavyweight known for explosive throws and high damage.
A legendary WWE icon with a pressure-heavy, hard-hitting moveset.
Before you begin
Do not rush into repeated grapple attempts; create an opening with basic attacks first.
Try pinning only after the opponent has taken substantial damage.
WWE Survivor Series is a professional-wrestling sports game developed by Natsume and published by THQ for the Game Boy Advance in 2004. It presents WWE matches through a compact, side-on presentation designed for the handheld’s limited hardware. Players choose wrestlers, enter several match formats, and use strikes, grapples, throws, and pin attempts to defeat an opponent. The game emphasizes short matches and straightforward controls rather than a deep simulation of WWE television production. Its reception was modest: reviewers generally recognized the effort to bring licensed wrestling to the GBA, while noting the simplified visuals, audio, and mechanics compared with home-console WWE titles.
