How it plays

How does WWF In Your House play?

Matches are viewed from a side-on perspective, with two wrestlers sharing a single arena. The main objective is to damage an opponent, gain positional advantage, and win by pinfall or another match-ending condition supported by the selected bout.

Players move around the ring, strike, grapple, throw opponents, and attempt pins. The roster gives each wrestler different strengths and signature moves. Progression is primarily match-based rather than role-playing based, with the selected mode determining the sequence of opponents and the conditions for victory.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play WWF In Your House?

Use movement to create space before committing to a grapple. Strikes are useful for interrupting an opponent, but repeated attacks can leave the wrestler vulnerable if the opponent reverses or closes distance.

Choose a wrestler whose strengths fit the matchup. Heavy wrestlers can control exchanges once they secure a hold, while faster characters benefit from short attacks and repositioning. Save finishing attempts for moments when the opponent is sufficiently weakened, then follow up quickly with a pin if the match rules allow it.
