How it plays
How does Balloon Fight play?
Players move left and right while repeatedly pressing a button to flap upward. Contact with an enemy balloon removes one of the player’s balloons; losing both leaves the character vulnerable to falling or being defeated.
The main game presents successive stages with enemies, platforms, water, and environmental dangers. Balloon Trip removes direct combat and challenges the player to travel as far as possible while collecting balloons and avoiding sparks. A two-player mode supports cooperative play on the same screen.
Plan your run
What is the best way to play Balloon Fight?
Use short, rhythmic flaps instead of holding a constant upward movement. Stay above enemies when possible, then descend onto their balloons from a safe angle.
In Balloon Trip, plan around the fixed spark patterns and collect balloons only when the route is clear. Preserve horizontal space so that recovery remains possible after an accidental drop.
Before you begin
What should you know before playing?
- 1
Pop an opponent’s balloon before attempting to collide with the character.
- 2
Avoid the water and edge hazards; losing altitude is difficult to recover from.
- 3
In Balloon Trip, learn the repeating spark patterns before chasing every balloon.
