How it plays
Pilot one of six fighter aircraft, locate hostile bogeys, lock on, and complete air-combat missions against invasion and terrorist threats. The game is closer to an arcade action shooter than a strict flight simulator, with mission objectives and missile combat taking priority over realistic procedures.
Plan your run
Keep a target in view long enough to obtain a lock, use altitude and turns to break an enemy missile line, and avoid chasing one aircraft so far that another reaches the objective. Choose the aircraft whose handling fits the mission rather than always using the fastest jet.
Bogey Dead 6 is a 1996 PlayStation arcade-style flight combat game developed by Pegasus Japan and Bit Town. It was released in Japan as Sidewinder and in Europe as Raging Skies, with regional publishing by Asmik Ace or Sony Computer Entertainment.
