How it plays
The game uses a third-person perspective across linear 3D stages based on locations from the films. Simba runs, jumps, attacks, roars, collects tokens, and completes simple environmental tasks while progressing through story scenes.
Levels are arranged as a guided adventure rather than an open world. Checkpoints and health items support forward progress, while optional collectibles encourage exploration. The main campaign is single-player.
Plan your run
Explore the edges of each area before advancing. Collectible tokens and health items are often placed away from the main route.
Use jumping rather than repeated attacks when avoiding groups of enemies, and learn each stage's hazards before committing to a long platforming sequence.

Disney's The Lion King: Simba's Mighty Adventure is a 3D action-adventure platform game developed by Paradox Development and published by Activision for the original PlayStation. It follows Simba from his childhood through his return to the Pride Lands, using a simplified retelling of events from The Lion King and The Lion King II: Simba's Pride. Players explore linear environments, defeat enemies, collect items, and solve light platforming challenges. The game was aimed primarily at younger players and received mixed historical reception: critics generally found it accessible and faithful to the films, while noting its short length and basic design.
