Bomberman
The series mascot and a balanced all-round racer.
How it plays
Races are viewed from behind the rider in a third-person perspective. The objective is to finish ahead of the other competitors while navigating bends, jumps, hazards, and branching sections of each course.
Players steer their mount, manage speed, collect helpful items, and interfere with opponents. Progression is based on completing events and improving results across the available courses; the game also includes local multiplayer racing for competitive play.
Plan your run
Learn each course's turns before concentrating on maximum speed. A clean line through corners is usually more valuable than taking a risky shortcut without knowing its hazards.
Collect items when the route is safe, and save disruptive attacks for narrow sections where opponents have less room to evade. In multiplayer, watching the track ahead is more reliable than following another rider too closely.

A recurring Bomberman character who appears as a playable racer in this title.
Before you begin
Practice difficult corners in single-player before entering multiplayer races.
Use branching routes selectively; the shortest-looking path is not always the fastest.
Avoid sacrificing control merely to maintain top speed.
Bomberman Fantasy Race is a 1998 PlayStation racing spin-off developed and published by Hudson Soft. It places Bomberman characters in colorful fantasy environments, where they race while riding unusual creatures rather than setting bombs in enclosed arenas. The game combines conventional racing with light action elements. Competitors can collect and use items, disrupt rivals, and take alternate routes across courses. Its bright presentation and simple party-friendly design made it approachable, although contemporary reception was mixed because of its modest depth and less precise handling than leading kart racers of the period.
