How it plays
Move through side-scrolling stages, fire at enemy formations, avoid projectiles and terrain hazards, collect weapon upgrades, and defeat bosses. The stage route uses direct action and requires keeping the character aligned with the safe parts of the screen.
Plan your run
Keep firing while watching the next wave, use weapon upgrades where they improve coverage, and do not move into a narrow corridor without checking the incoming pattern. Save before a boss when supported.
Burai Senshi Deluxe is the Japanese Game Boy version of Burai Fighter Deluxe, an Irem action shooter. It brings the series' soldier and weapon-focused side-scrolling combat to the handheld.
