How it plays
How does Cobra Command play?
The game uses a side-view perspective, with the Cobra helicopter moving through horizontally scrolling combat areas. The objective is to survive each mission while destroying enemy units, structures, and other targets before reaching the stage's conclusion.
Players steer the helicopter, fire the standard weapon, and use a secondary weapon when available. Progression comes from clearing successive missions, with enemy formations, hazards, and boss-like encounters providing the main escalation. The game is primarily a single-player experience and does not center on character development or exploration.
