How it plays

How does Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped play?

Players guide Crash or Coco through a central time-travel hub containing themed level groups. The main objective is to reach each level’s exit while collecting Wumpa Fruit, crates, bonus items, and colored gems.

Crash can run, jump, spin, slide, crouch, and use Aku Aku masks for protection. Completing levels earns crystals; time trials, gem routes, secret entrances, and crate completion add optional challenges. Boss stages unlock new abilities and further time periods, while vehicle levels change the usual platforming rules.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped?

Learn the timing of jumps before attempting to collect every crate. Spin attacks are useful for ordinary enemies, but jumping is safer around hazards that cannot be spun away.

Return to earlier stages after gaining new abilities. Time trials require speed and route knowledge, while gem paths often demand careful crate destruction. Keep Aku Aku masks when approaching unfamiliar hazards, boss arenas, or vehicle transitions.
