The game uses a side-view platform perspective. Daffy travels through discrete stages, collects required objects, defeats or avoids enemies, and reaches the stage exit while managing his limited opportunities to take damage.

Movement, jumping, and ranged attacks are the central actions. Stages combine platforms, pits, moving hazards, and enemy placements; later areas generally demand more careful timing and route selection. Progression comes from clearing stages rather than from a character-leveling system.

Learn enemy patterns before moving into open areas, and avoid rushing across platforms when hazards are visible. Use ranged attacks from a safe distance where possible, but keep moving when enemies can approach from multiple directions.

Explore each section for required collectibles before committing to the exit. Preserve health or lives for the final part of a stage, where platforming hazards are often less forgiving.
