Songs are organized by selectable difficulty and can be played alone or against another player. Successful steps build the score and preserve the gauge; missed or poorly timed steps reduce performance. Progression comes from learning patterns, improving grades, and clearing harder charts rather than from a character-level system.

Start on Beginner or Light difficulty and learn the timing window before attempting faster charts. Keep your eyes on the target line and read the spacing between arrows instead of reacting to each arrow at the last moment.

Use alternating feet whenever possible, especially during streams and repeated patterns. On a dance pad, avoid jumping unless two arrows arrive together; conserving balance and stamina is more reliable than pressing every step with one foot.
