How it plays

How does Destruction Derby 2 play?

The game uses a third-person chase view behind the car. Races require completing laps while managing traffic, impacts, and vehicle damage; demolition events instead reward smashing opponents and remaining operational.

Players can enter standard races, destruction-focused events, and championship progression. Success unlocks or leads to tougher events and faster opposition. Braking, positioning, and choosing when to attack are as important as acceleration, because severe damage can reduce a car’s performance or end an event.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Destruction Derby 2?

Use braking before crowded corners rather than relying on full-speed impacts. On circuit races, protect the front of the car and take shorter, safer lines when opponents are bunched together.

In arena events, avoid getting trapped against the wall. Strike damaged opponents from the side or rear, then move away before several cars converge on your position. Monitor the damage display and prioritize survival when your vehicle is badly damaged.

Before you begin

What should you know before playing?

  1. 1

Learn each track’s braking points before attempting aggressive shortcuts.

  2. 2

In demolition events, isolated targets are safer than the center of a large pile-up.

  3. 3

Use controlled contact to turn opponents instead of hitting every car head-on.
