How it plays
The game uses a side-view perspective across linear jungle stages. Tarzan must reach the end of each level while jumping between platforms, climbing surfaces, swinging on vines, avoiding hazards, and defeating hostile animals or enemies.
Levels include collectibles and optional objectives that encourage exploration. Progression follows the film's story, with Tarzan gaining access to different movement and attack abilities as the adventure advances. The PlayStation version is primarily a single-player campaign rather than a collection of separate competitive modes.
Plan your run
Learn the timing of jumps and vine swings before moving quickly through a stage. Collectibles are often placed away from the safest route, so inspect upper platforms and branching paths.
Use attacks mainly when an enemy blocks progress, and keep moving around larger threats instead of standing directly in front of them. Preserve health by observing hazards before committing to a jump.

Disney's Tarzan is a 2D side-scrolling platform game developed by Eurocom and based on Disney's 1999 animated film. Players control Tarzan through jungle environments, following his growth from a young child into an agile adult protector. The game combines traditional platforming with climbing, swinging, combat, collectible gathering, and short exploration challenges. Its stages retell major parts of the film through colorful backgrounds and recognizable characters. Critics generally viewed it as a competent, accessible licensed platformer, though its straightforward design and modest difficulty made it more appealing to younger players than to fans seeking a demanding adventure.
