How it plays

How does Doraemon play?

The game is divided into separate sections with different perspectives and objectives. Side-scrolling stages require Doraemon to move through hazards, defeat enemies, collect items, and reach the end of an area. Other sections use shooting or overhead exploration, changing how movement and attacks are handled.

Progress depends on clearing stages, surviving enemy patterns, and making effective use of available gadgets and power-ups. The three-part structure means that learning one section does not completely prepare the player for the next.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Doraemon?

Learn each section as its own game. In side-scrolling areas, avoid rushing into enemy patterns and keep track of safe ground before jumping.

In shooting and overhead sections, prioritize survival over quick progress. Collect useful items when the route is safe, watch for recurring enemy formations, and preserve lives for unfamiliar later areas.
