How it plays
How does Golf play?
The player guides a golfer through an 18-hole course. Each hole requires selecting an appropriate club, aiming the shot, and controlling the swing’s power and timing. Wind, terrain, hazards, and the lie of the ball affect the result.
The primary objective is to complete the course in as few strokes as possible. Progress is hole by hole rather than through character upgrades or unlockable equipment, with the scorecard providing the main long-term challenge.
Plan your run
What is the best way to play Golf?
Choose clubs according to distance, wind, and the ball’s lie rather than always using the longest option. Favor the fairway when a direct route risks a bunker or water hazard.
On the green, study the slope and use restrained power. A safe approach that leaves a manageable putt is usually better than attempting a risky shot near the hole.
Before you begin
What should you know before playing?
- 1
Use shorter clubs when accuracy matters more than maximum distance.
- 2
Account for wind before beginning the swing.
- 3
Avoid hazards even if taking a safer layup adds a stroke.
