Harry Potter
The playable young wizard who investigates the attacks at Hogwarts.
How it plays
The game uses a third-person perspective as Harry explores Hogwarts and surrounding areas. Objectives include finding items, solving environmental puzzles, learning and using spells, and reaching the end of story-driven levels.
Levels mix platforming, combat, switches, hidden objects, and short challenges. Progress comes from completing objectives, collecting house points and cards, and unlocking access to new areas or abilities. The adventure is primarily single-player.
Plan your run
Explore thoroughly before leaving an area, since cards, beans, and other collectibles can be placed away from the main route. Learn each spell’s use and test it on suspicious objects, switches, and enemies.
Avoid rushing through platform sections. Keep Harry aligned before long jumps, watch enemy attack patterns, and use the environment when direct spell attacks are unreliable. Save progress whenever the game provides a save opportunity.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is a fantasy action-adventure game developed by Argonaut Games and published by Electronic Arts for the original PlayStation. It adapts Harry’s second year at Hogwarts, where strange attacks, a hidden chamber, and a mysterious diary threaten the school. The game combines third-person exploration, platforming, spell-based combat, environmental puzzles, and short minigames. Harry explores school grounds and nearby locations, collects items, learns spells, and faces creatures drawn from the wizarding world. This PlayStation edition is a separate, more compact production from the later sixth-generation console versions. Reception was generally mixed: reviewers appreciated its recognizable setting and variety, while criticizing its camera, controls, and technical limitations.
