Male Protagonist

How it plays
The game uses a top-down perspective. Each day, the player chooses how to spend limited time and stamina: tilling soil, planting and watering crops, cutting grass, mining, fishing, collecting items, or caring for animals.
The year is divided into seasons with different crops, events, and weather patterns. Farm improvements, equipment use, animal care, and relationships gradually expand the player’s options. Progress is based on restoring the farm and meeting the game’s long-term objectives before the story’s evaluation.
Plan your run
Plan each day around stamina and travel time. Water crops early, then complete nearby gathering or social tasks before returning home.
Save valuable items until their uses are clear, and prioritize upgrades that reduce repeated work. Keep animals fed every day and use seasonal crops suited to the available growing period.

The other selectable lead, with a different story path and marriage options.
Before you begin
Organize crops in manageable groups so watering takes less time.
Check the season before planting; crops generally cannot be carried through every seasonal change.
Fishing, gathering, and mining provide useful alternatives when farm work is finished.
Harvest Moon 2 GBC is a farming and life-simulation role-playing game developed by Victor Interactive Software for the Game Boy Color. The player inherits a neglected farm and works to restore it by growing crops, caring for livestock, gathering materials, and helping the nearby community. Days are organized around limited time and stamina, encouraging careful planning rather than constant action. The game combines routine agricultural work with exploration, seasonal events, and relationship building. Its compact portable presentation received a generally positive response for bringing the series’ core systems to a handheld, although the small screen and simplified structure limited its depth compared with the console entries.
