Final Fantasy VII
psRole-Playing
How it plays
Players race from a third-person perspective on suspended hover bikes. The main objective is to complete laps and finish ahead of rival riders, while using the course layout, jumps, shortcuts, and weapons to gain or protect a lead.
Events take place across multiple themed tracks and support competitive single-player and multiplayer play. Progression rewards successful racing with access to further events and improved competitive opportunities; handling the bike over uneven terrain is as important as accelerating.
Plan your run
Learn each track before relying on speed. Approach jumps and tight corners with a stable line, and use the terrain to avoid collisions rather than fighting every opponent.
Save offensive weapons for crowded sections or the final lap. In multiplayer, defensive positioning and knowledge of shortcuts are often more valuable than constant attacks.
Before you begin
Practice braking and turning before attempting advanced tracks.
Use jumps and shortcuts deliberately; a missed landing can cost more time than a slower safe route.
Watch opponents and hazards near narrow ramps and elevated sections.
Jet Moto 2 is a futuristic action-racing game developed by SingleTrac and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the original PlayStation. Riders compete on hovering motorcycles across tracks built from water, ice, industrial structures, and other hazardous environments. The game combines conventional racing with weapons, jumps, sharp turns, and environmental hazards, giving each event a more combative character than a standard racer. Its campaign structure, varied courses, and expanded roster made it a notable sequel. Contemporary reception generally praised the sense of speed, unusual track design, and chaotic multiplayer, while criticizing occasional control difficulty and rough collision behavior. It remains a distinctive example of late-1990s futuristic console racing.
