How it plays

How does Journey to Silius play?

Journey to Silius is viewed from a side-scrolling perspective. Each stage is a linear course filled with platforms, moving hazards, ground enemies, flying enemies, and a boss encounter. Jay must reach the end while managing his health and ammunition.

The A button jumps and the B button fires the currently selected weapon. Jay begins with a standard gun and acquires additional weapons during the adventure, including weapons with different ranges and attack patterns. Select cycles through available weapons, while Start pauses the game. Progress is divided into five stages, with no character-level or equipment upgrade system.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Journey to Silius?

Learn enemy placement before trying to rush. Many hazards are easier to handle by stopping at the edge of a platform and firing after an enemy enters range.

Conserve limited ammunition for weapons that are especially effective against bosses. Select the weapon that best fits the current space, and use jumps deliberately: some platforms and projectiles punish repeated blind movement.
