How does Klonoa: Empire of Dreams play?
The game uses a side-view perspective and is divided into stages grouped across several worlds. Klonoa must reach each goal while navigating platforms, hazards, enemies, and puzzle devices.
His Wind Bullet captures nearby enemies. A captured enemy can be carried briefly or thrown to defeat foes, activate switches, break objects, and reach otherwise inaccessible areas. Optional collectibles and bonus objectives encourage exploration, while later stages introduce more demanding timing and multi-step puzzles.
