How it plays
How does Klonoa Heroes: Legend of the Star Medal play?
The game uses an overhead viewpoint. Players explore connected areas, speak with residents, open treasure chests, fight enemies in real time, and advance the story by completing objectives in towns and dungeons.
Klonoa, Guntz, and Pango can be selected during the adventure. Equipment, items, and character growth support progression, while dungeon routes and battles provide the main challenge. The campaign is structured around story events, exploration, and boss encounters rather than separate platforming stages.
