How it plays
The game presents KITT from an overhead perspective as he travels through vertically scrolling roads and mission areas. The main objectives are to move through each stage, deal with enemy vehicles and obstacles, and reach the required destination or complete the assigned task.
Progression is stage-based rather than exploratory. Driving and combat are the central activities, with hazards and opponents placing pressure on the player as each mission advances. The game is primarily a single-player experience.
Plan your run
Stay aware of the road ahead instead of concentrating only on attacking enemies. Avoid unnecessary collisions, keep a safe line through hazards, and use attacks when they create a clear route.
Because stages can become repetitive, learn the enemy and obstacle patterns in each section. Conservative driving is usually safer than rushing into groups of opponents.

Knight Rider is an NES action-driving game developed by Pack-In-Video and published by Acclaim Entertainment. It adapts the television series by placing Michael Knight and KITT in a sequence of road-based missions against criminal organizations and hostile vehicles. The game combines overhead driving with direct combat and mission objectives. Players guide KITT through scrolling environments, avoid hazards, and attack enemies while trying to complete each assignment. Its reception was generally mixed: the license was recognizable, but critics and players often regarded the repetitive action and awkward handling as weaker than the television premise.
