How it plays
The game uses a side-view perspective. Each area contains rats that must be directed through the room and into traps; simply reaching the exit is not enough. Krusty moves around platforms, collects usable objects, and places them so the rats follow a workable path.
Stages are divided into puzzle rooms and broader sections, with later areas demanding more careful timing and planning. Hazards, enemies, pits, and limited room layouts punish careless movement. Progress depends on clearing the required rats and then reaching the appropriate exit or completion point.
Plan your run
Study the entire room before moving objects. Rats usually follow the available route, so a single misplaced block or platform can make a solution impossible.
Keep Krusty out of danger while arranging the path, and use jumps deliberately rather than rushing. When a room seems unsolvable, restart early instead of wasting time on an obstructed layout.

Krusty's Fun House is a puzzle-platform game developed by Audiogenic and published for the NES by Acclaim Entertainment in North America and Ocean Software in Europe. Players control Krusty the Clown inside a rat-infested amusement complex that has been overrun by mischievous rodents. The central challenge is to manipulate environmental objects and guide rats into extermination devices while navigating compact platforming areas. Krusty can run, jump, and carry or place objects to create safe routes and solve each room. The game received mixed reviews: critics often praised its varied puzzles and faithful Simpsons presentation, but some found the controls awkward and the difficulty uneven.
